IN THE BEGINNING THERE WAS CHAOS...............

AND THERE STILL IS TODAY!!

HALLOWEEN HOUSE 2000

Several pages of photos of set-up, finished products & inside scoop on what were doing.

My first attempt at a pneumatic powered Trash Can Trauma & The Witch gets a make-over.

This is just a quick glimpse of what we're up to this year. Above is the fully articulated skeleton that we haven't quite find a home for yet. With any luck he'll be in the rocking chair shown below with a motor keeping it rocking.

Gramps is keeping the rocker warm until Bucky gets back and takes his rightful place in the thing. Gramps is going to either be teeter tottering or flopping around inside a coffin in the front yard somewhere.

Tiny Tims skulls in place of candles. Nice effect for cheap. We'll spray the skulls with glow paint so the black light will light them up at night.

The unfinished Archways of Agony. Lots of spray foam, bones and faces. A few blackened ivy. On top we now have a crow perched as well as another skull keeping an eye on passersby.

It definitely got attention as we put it out. The Masons were hosting a Walk for Life while we were assembling the fence on October 1st. Fun to watch folks come down the sidewalk and quickly cross the street rather than get too close to our goodies. Once they found out we were going to be taking donations for the Food Bank it wasn't so bad. If you ever have an opportunity to have a Masonic Temple next to you, go for it. Couldn't ask for nicer neighbors. They let us park all our visitors in their parking lot last year when things got way out of hand. I called them in a pinch and they let us in with really no questions asked.

Inside  left edge of the Archway. We attached the gate right up against him.

Inside right edge of the Archway. The skull has a spring loaded jaw that we use to hold the gate chain when it's closed.

Here's an effect I'm still not happy with and now that I'm typing this I'm probably leaving the computer in a minute to take the webbing down. It glows in the dark and under black light but the color just gets on my nerves. We sprayed the skeletons with a glow paint that only shows up under black light. They look cool at night with the light on but I'm thinking I'll take the webbing down and just spray the whole inside with the glow paint. Yep, that's what I'll do. I'll show you later.

This is on the outside left edge of the Archway. Cheap bloodied squeaky rat chewing a thumbnail off a severed hand. Yum!! Dinner's served.

The Terror Twins are resting on top of the Archway. They're cool and they know it.

Here's Amber with eight of the skeletons that will be on display in various places throughout the yard. You can never have too many of these kinds of things as far as I'm concerned.

Just a great shot that Brenda took of the skeletons. I had to share it with you.

On to the next page to see what else we're up to.
