HALLOWEEN 2004
Day one - October 1st
Here we go again. Being weird is what I'm best at so I'm using it to my advantage. I've decided to build a prop a day for 31 days. Each day I put a new prop out in the yard. I try to have them up and ready for viewing by 7 a.m. each morning. At 10 p.m. each night I take them down and put them away until Friday, October 29th when I'll begin putting all of them out again. Or at least I'll put almost all of them out. Some of the props are used in more than one scene. The Candidates scene that you'll see below features the Grim Reaper. He's also present in a second scene a few days later and will probably make a few more appearances. I'm a fan of the reaper so he pops up all over the place.
This scene popped in my head about mid August and I couldn't get it out. I toyed with different ideas for presenting them but had to find the right mix that wouldn't upset one faction or the other. This photo was taken at 6 in the morning on October 1st.
This is the marionettes in the natural light a few hours later. In this light it became more apparent that they were holding swords and not light-sabers as some had suggested. Star Wars freaks, you're all alike.
