Lawmower Man
In 2002 I threw an old lawnmower on top of a body and just left it in the back of the yard. When we asked several of the visitors to the yard what they liked the most a bunch of them replied "the lawnmower guy". Never mind all the scares I had or the months I slaved to bring them my haunt. The yloved the prop that cost me nothing and assembled in 2 minutes. Go figure
This year I brought it back but gave it a twist. Poor Stan got put to work again. I wired up another windshield wiper motor so that it made his arms and feet jerk around while the mower lay on top of him.
There's two videos below. The first makes Stan look like he's trying to swim away. The second looks a bit better. Again, the reaction from folks coming by was that this was my sickest prop so far. The only thing I can figure is that this is something that could actually happen so on some level they can relate to it. It baffles me still.
