HALLOWEEN 2004

October 27th - Day 27

OZ

Six and a half hours!  I've never spent so much time and been so unhappy with the way a scene looked.

After I came in the house and looked at the photos I realized that the Lion needed to be taller. Brenda agreed as soon as she saw the photos. I went and raised him but didn't feel like taking more photos.

I'm thinking I should get to count this as three new props. I won't, but I should.

Dorothy was a simple one. Brenda fixed her face for me.

Tin Man was interesting. I ran out of duct tape for his crotch. Don't ask. We really need a 24 hour hardware store around here.

Scarecrow was a challenge as I ran out of wig heads with faces. I already had the body from two other scenes so he didn't take long. Plus, he's got another role soon, so he really didn't matter much.

The Lion is a travesty. I ran out of paint and had to use a glow yellow on him. The head sucked. It was after two in the morning and I said "to heck with it".  Folks would know what I was trying for and apparently they do. Traffic is slowing considerably more this morning than the rest of the month.
