Halloween 2005

Seems like old times.

Started the day by fencing the whole stinking yard off. 190' of wire fencing. 5' fence posts pounded into the ground for securing the fence properly.

The photo above shows how the yard looked before we started.

This is the fence as we're putting it up. Hard to see in the photos but we actually installed what could be a permanent fence. We used 5' fence posts, pounded them into the ground, stretched the fence and hooked it to the post all the way around the yard. We then cut 40" tall pieces of corrugated 4" drain pipe. We split each of those in half length-wise and then secured them over the fence to hide the metal fence posts. Black zip ties were used to hold them back together. 4" caps topped off each post and then every other one got the skull topper as seen in photos below.

We made shepherds hooks out of rebar and hung low watt bulbs every 3rd post out over the sidewalk. Sunday we built flicker circuits for the six lights so they sporadically flicker on and off all the time. Great effect.

For fun we drug out a couple of the deck lounges and posed a pair of skeletons on them so folks would get the idea what we were up to.

Note the great job Amber did on the magazine the one is reading.

Just another quick one to release some stress. 8' tall bar with five flashing skulls.
