October 26th - Asstd weirdness
As I'm talking to some folks about the pit a couple of cars pulled up with the group you see above. They were students from Black Hills High School who were shooting their own "Thriller" video. They wanted to use my graveyard scene to film in so I let them in and away they went. We took down the Reaper and tossed their Thriller cd in the player that normally runs the thunder and lightning machine. Cranked it up and blasted the neighborhood while they filmed away. The young man playing the part of Michael Jackson could dance. The rest were pretty darn good themselves but MJ rocked.
I shot some video as well that I have to have converted from my vidcam so that'll take a few days. They're supposed to get me a copy of the video they made if they can. Quite the time.
I ran back to the garage and cranked out a couple of ideas using frames James built earlier in the day.
I've had this mask for a few years and no matter what I put it on it looked funky. So, I gave it a funky costume to go with it this year.
Strange monk-ish thing with bizarre spray-foam chest. I almost made it the whole month without using any spray foam.
Don't ask. At this point I think the paint fumes had gotten to me.
Same excuse as above. I may need to start ventilating the garage.
Woo-hoo. Went up north this afternoon and borrowed a couple of coffins and an animated electric chair prop from a friend of mine that runs commercial haunted houses.
