October 9th
Another productive day.
Weird Pig prop strangling a farmer. No reason other than I wanted to use the Pig mask for something.
I picked up two of the farmer props for under $20.00 because the noses were smooshed. Cheap is good.
Chucky's back. Yay!
His head spins around and around again this year.
His Winnie The Pooh coveralls never cease to crack me up.
Below is a little movie of the spinning head action. Not for those of the low speed persuasion.
Next came the moss application. The Wrecking Crew came through and stapled a poo-load of spanish moss to 1"x2"s for me. We then laid them on the top of the gutters and hooked them up under the eaves. I love the way it made the front of the house look.
Then we straightened out the pirate.
Had a woman that won one of the Scarecrows last year come pick it up today so I fixed up one of the others and tossed it at the fence while I had them out.
And if that wasn't enough we hooked up my Perfect Storm Thunder/Lightning machine that I bought from Jerry Chavez over at www.SpookyFX.com
and man is that thing cool. Those of you that don't have one have to get one. The CD of sound effects that it comes with is awesome. We've barely just begun to experiment with it and are blown away. Permanent grins on all our faces as folks on the sidewalk jumped when the thunder struck. Didn't hurt that we ran it through a 400 watt amplifier and hooked up a set of 200 watt speakers. My father's bringing huge powered subwoofers to hook to it tomorrow so the neighbors on the othe side of the cemetery can experience the Perfect Storm as well.
Quick video of the house as we messed around with the lighting and sound.
Thunder/Lightning Movie
Got two of the Wrecking Crew to stand still for photos today.

James Houts. He's been here every day since the 1st helping me out. He knows where more stuff in my garage is than I do.

Jimmy Hoza. He actually helped me on my old house back in 97-98 when he was but a wee lad.
Lastly. An updated photo of the fountain now that the skulls have had a week to age under the red food dye.
