Witch
The poor witch gets a makeover every year. She stills get the classic hefty bag dress each year and someday I'm gonna break down and buy her a new hat. That one still has a hole in the back from the first time I used it six years ago. We gave her a thinner frame this year and some awesome arms. As usual she stirred the pot with help from a turntable in the bottom of her cauldron. The bucky arms and hands moved just like the real thing bending at the wrist as it turned. Of course I put her right out at the front this year. In years past she was on the porch and folks were crowding her. It was only a matter of time before someone went off the side of the porch. Having her out front was a great way to cause traffic problems as folks would slow down to see if it was their imagination or not when they saw her stirring.
A really dark photo of her at night. Red spotlights suspended in the trees above gave her a strange/spooky look at night. Looked cool with the fog too.
Another strange photo that shows the weird spray foam intestine cover laying on the ground. It hid the fog machine that fed into the cauldron as well as the graveyard beside the witch and under the ghost lady. You can see a bit of the fog in the photo at the top of the page.
